Google Pixel 9a’s bold design and attractive changes

The biggest design change comes on the back of the device. Unlike the curved design of the Pixel 8a and Pixel 9a, this new one has a rounded chassis and a textured finish. The horizontal camera bar of previous models has been removed. Instead, the Google Pixel 9a uses an oval-shaped camera module with two camera sensors and an LED flash.

The Google Pixel 9a comes with a larger 6.3-inch display. It supports adaptive refresh rates from 60Hz to 120Hz. This is an upgrade from the 6.1-inch display with a fixed refresh rate on the Pixel 8a.

The device is powered by the Tensor G4 chip, the same processor as the flagship Pixel 9 series. This ensures smooth performance for apps, games, and multitasking. It will also have 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256 GB.

A 5,000mAh battery will improve battery life, up from the 4,492mAh capacity on the Pixel 8a. However, charging speeds remain the same. The phone will offer 18W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging.

The Google Pixel 9a will feature a 48-megapixel main camera, borrowed from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This replaces the 64-megapixel sensor found in the Pixel 8a. The change focuses on improving image quality and better performance in real-world use.
